Rabat Villa
Rabat, Morocco
About the project
A villa that keeps its privacy behind a long stone frame, with timber gates, dark marble and a calm white upper floor.
On a city plot, privacy comes first. The villa is set behind a long horizontal frame in pale stone that holds the entrance gate, the garage and planted walls in one continuous gesture.
Behind it, the upper floor is a calm white volume cut by a timber-lined loggia and a tall slot of dark marble that marks the stair. Large windows face the garden side, away from the street.
Material choices stay few and honest — wood, marble, glass and white render — so the house will age well and stay easy to maintain.
